Our History, or the story of Story of the Bath & Racquet Fitness Club
Our History, is much more than an oral tradition. The Club has seen many changes since 1969. While the family ownership has remained constant and we have planned for that to continue, the Club has not stood still. I will try to chronicle some of the more interesting aspects of our past.
While most people don't even realize it we have numerous trees that have been donated to the Club of the years. Some are from friends of past tennis partners. And others were just done for the love of the Club and their generosity. To all we are very grateful for the addition to the Club's charm. We kiss and tell with names and photos about our Memorials and trees.
The clubhouse history page shows an aerial photo of the club color coded with descriptions of what was added to the clubhouse and when. You can easily see these same additions on the inside of the clubhouse if you know where to look.
The tennis court history page shows the courts and when they were constructed with some vintage aerials photos of the club, and a few historical nuggets about the club.
Our use and misuse of a logo could be a business case study. We have used several different logos over the years, some good, some bad, and some just plain ugly. If you have know the club for a while or just what a walk down memory lane visit our old logos. This page was very amusing to create.

We were named the Best Place to Break a Sweat for 2011 by Natural Awakenings. We would like to thank Natural Awakenings and our members for our award. And we have a bunch of new stuff on our plate that will make the Club even better in the future. The award it self is gorgeous, we must find a place of honor for the award.
