Someone is passing out in the lobby what should I do?

Question: Hi Scott, we have a new member that is staggering and passing out in the lobby. We think he maybe under the influence of something. What should we do?

Answer: My response was that when in doubt call 911 for an evaluation. After being examined by paramedics the member had very low blood sugar and was having a medical emergency. They gave an IV and we provided and PB&J sandwich and the member was on their way home with in a half hour.
